Grigorios was born in Athens in 1986 and grew up in Xanthi, Greece. He studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace, and graduated in 2010. In his Diploma Thesis, a network model was analysed with game-theoretical tools. Having graduated with an excellent grade (8.6/10), he received a scholarship for postgraduate studies by the State Scholarship Foundation of Greece. Before continuing his studies, he completed his 9-month military service, where he worked as a computer specialist.

Following, he enrolled at the Master’s program in Computer Science of the University of Geneva, having received a Master's Excellence Fellowship by the Faculty of Science of UNIGE. In his Master's Thesis, he analysed the effect of self-citations in the bibliometrics h-index. He graduated in January 2014, with an excellent grade (5.66/6).

He joined TaM in March 2014. As a member of TaM, he participates in the design team of the Global Positioning Module (GPM). He works as a candidate PhD research assistant, focusing in recurrent problems of indoor positioning.

As a teaching assistant, he has assisted the courses: “Applied Cybernetics”, “Formal Modelling Tools”, “Service Models and Design”, and “Mobile Systems and Services”.

His main research interests are: algorithmic design, localization algorithms, algorithmic game theory, mathematical optimization and machine learning. He speaks Greek (native speaker), English (proficient level), Spanish (advanced level) and French (intermediate level).
