Collaboration TaM FacLab

In order to reach the constraints of a deployment in the end-user’s home for the European project CoachMyLife, we have worked with the FacLab to switch from a prototype to a product, by designing the covering of the hardware development kit we used (Jetson Nano).

This box, once a camera is plugged into, can recognize the daily life activities of a person (by pose estimation and area interaction mainly).

We solved three constraints:

• Artificial Intelligence algorithms must run locally (instead of cloud-based).
• Full privacy respect with video stream processed locally (instead of cloud-based).
• One-click connection with WPS button of the participants' router for an easy automatic configuration.

The whole system is now plug and plug, a key advantage in this competitive market.
