Maher Ben Moussa is a senior researcher and an EU project manager working since 2008 for the University of Geneva. His research topics concern embodied conversational agents and social robotics, with the focus on emotion recognition, emotion expression, computational modelling of behavioural sciences theories and dialogue management. He has contributed to several Swiss-funded and EU-funded projects including FP6 INDIGO, FP7 PlayMancer, FNS Aerial Crowd, FP7 3DLife NoE, FP7 RePlay, FP7 ITN-DCH, AAL CaMeLi, FP7 Miraculous-Life, H2020 GrowMeUp, AAL Vizier and H2020 MC RISE GEO-SAFE. Furthermore, he is the scientist in charge of the coordination of UNIGE’s efforts in several Ambient Assisted Living projects, such as AAL CaMeLi, FP7 Miraculous-Life, H2020 GrowMeUp, AAL Vizier and he is the current project manager of the CTI project IDDASS at TaM.
